Hey Everyone!

So I decided to purchase a new PSU for my VEWLIX cab, and went with the Sanwa SWN-JVS.

I haven't received it yet but was noticing from pics on the web that the connector type on the Sanwa PSU is going to be different than the Weiya p271 PSU that came stock on my VEWLIX. I'm thinking of just replacing the existing connectors with the newer/needed ones on my existing Taito power supply harness.

Does anyone know exactly what type of connectors are used on the Sanwa SWN-JVS?? ?(

Thanks! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you receive it yet? Isn’t that a drop in replacement? Where did you buy it from?

Its a drop in replacement afaik, you shouldnt need to get any connectors.

I have a pair - anyone need pictures of the connectors?

Sorry just saw your replies...

Yeah I got it, unfortunately it wasn’t a drop in replacement as the connectors and layout is different on the Sanwa SWN-JVS than on the Weiya P271.

I ended up getting the info for the correct connectors from @Lemony Vengeance (listed below) He’s actually going to redo the JVS harness for me with the correct connectors :D

They've gone up quite a bit since I bought mine - I thought 11,000 Yen shipped was expensive.

Yup, they have definitely gone up in price. The SWN-JVS is a really nice supply, its a plugin with vewlix's etc..

But lately, Ive been using a combination of these 2 psu witch will satisfy any just about any cab's jamma/jvs needs

They're not a straight plug in and require an adapter, even for the AC power to it. I've made some in the past and gave @Magus Incognito the parts list above a few months ago.
I stand corrected  , I have never used the swn-jvs on the vewlixs since my sucky stock Weiya PSU works just fine feeding them 100v ;)
If they do go out, I will just replace them with the Mean PSU a much cheaper solution

Can u elaborate on how did u adapt it to the cab? Thanks in advance

I plan on doing the same did u follow a tutorial on what type of connectors to buy and how to do it
Not really, since I often do custom setups tailored to my needs/what Im hooking up at the time. As I change things around I might end up redoing or adding connections.
