Hello, my motherboard did not come with any scsi drive and I was wondering are all drives (for the most part) compatible so long as the jumpers are set correctly? Furthermore could I theoretically use a dvd scsi drive?

Are you looking for physical drives only? How about looking into SCSI emulators then.
I will be in the future just looking for quick options to use now
