What's new
Set Network Type to Stand Alone in the Game Assignments under the service menu?

But it doesn't start at all. Lights on print are burning and the monitor is oke, new power suply, so thought the jumper settings could offer a solution.

There's something wrong with the motherboard then.

I would pull apart the motherboard stack and then reassemble to see if that gets it going.

Has anyone tried converting to a Virtual On board?
My roms and pcbs are 100% ok, tried different version, but the program simply will not run. Leds lit solid and purple striped screen.
To me It looks like the game needs the comms board connected, which I dont have.

Could be @Rick1974 his issue too

*edit* one of my romboards took a dump, just when I installed virtual on:cursing: All running fine now, without comms board

Hi. I have made a physical copy of Air Walkers for Model 2A. I have spent almost 2 hours testing jumpers order, comparing with other Model 2A games I have. In the attached photo is the correct jumper order.

27c400 - IC8, IC9
27c4002 - IC30, IC12, IC13
27c322 - IC10, IC11
27c160 - rest of them

I would want to ask about a doubt I have with Pilot Kids. A well-known friend of mine sold a few years ago to germany the first attached board.

In MAME, the game is documented as having 21 total masks/eproms on Model 2A, but in that photo is clearly seen it has 29 total masks/eproms.
I have also seen this game has been seen in "protoboard" standard, Fujitsu official pcbs as the second photo.

Maybe this game in its first sellings used masks with half of its size on selected masks, and future units were made with bigger tsop "protoboards" because they were cheaper? And for that reason we have the versions we have on mame? I also want to remind Psikyo was about to be bankrupt.
