Finally got around to trying to get my multi working, but getting garbled graphics.

I had an encrypted 68k cpu, so that is now replaced. I saw someone mention in another thread about an i8571 chip being an issue, but I'm not sure where that is on the board or what to do with it even if I did have it.

Here are some pictures. Any clues?

Thanks!

Probably a bad burn on a eprom or a bent pin etc. They are all tested by booting every game before shipping. How long has it been?

It's been about 6 weeks since I got the multi back from getting programmed by shootthecore. He verified on his side it was all good. I should check for bent pins on the eproms? Or maybe the 68k replacement I got is foobar?

Hmm. If he programmed it and verified then the multi itself should be good. It is always possible the 68k is bad. Could be something else on the main pcb as well. Make sure none of the leads on the bottom of the pcb are bent and touching.

Ok, I'll check out the bottom. I'll reseat everything too and also try the OG golden axe rom board and see what happens. I'll report back

Keep.in mind the multi uses more if the pcb than the OG romboard so it may work and the multi doesn't for some reason.
