What's new
tried those with tl866 and gq4x4, not having luck with both.
either there are some additional settings that those require but are not required by the software in screenshot (no idea what software it is) or the pic dump is wrong

can you post the dump?
i presume it's hex and not a bin file
hex files often have the fuse bits at the end :)

fucking mame dumpers!
that's a trimmed binary without the fusebits.
and as pic is not 8bit but something like 12, we dont even know the endian type.

mystery solved, it the dump is not valid no amount of fiddling with settings will make it work :/
I guess it is not straight forward to dump it? i have the original ...

an idea,
read the original.
the protection bits dont block the config bytes - so you will see the settings you need.
also i think the first 16 bytes or more are also not blocked.

I will give it a go
will it be the same with this one?

why same binaries "from MAME" worked like a charm for us ?
perhaps junk is a something inside of your head ;)

that's binary as is from decapping/dumping service. and in general, in ll the PIC dumps via decap I've seen had no config word. moreover, config word is something device specific, so original bits high likely will NOT work for yours flash-based PIC MCUs.

e.g. in short: it looks like you barely have an idea what you talking about

an incomplete dump is still incomplete - even if you dont want the missing bits.
how may threads are on this forum related to naomi pics and people not knowing the fusebits - a lot.
