I ordered two new joysticks for my Astro City. I purchased them from Arcade shock and I asked them before I purchased what I needed they told me SEIMITSU LS-32-SC.

Tonight when I went to replace them I noticed they are missing the 4 separate switches and only have one 4 pin connector. Can someone let me know if there is an adapter or the correct joystick? My goal was to buy all OEM parts to make the machine as close to original as possible.

Thanks!

i am no arcade expert, but i dont think semitsu makes the old style anymore with 4 microswitches. so you might be sol there. the thing is with the harness now you'd need to make an adapter harness which isn't too difficult but you want the newer sticks.

If you have a harness and can crimp wires
Very easy to build your own
I think that's the opposite of what he needs.

Edit: This adapter looks like it would work:

You can still find both:

Thank you guys! So yes I was about to buy the adapter which I did find was the male end and I was going to get the female which would have worked. However, I went back to Arcade shock and did order the correct model. They were able to just do an RMA. The names are so similar especially if you are a newbie.

Appreciate all of your help!
