I got jipped by getting a mismatched 10 with HF, but on the plus side: it’s never failed. It gets along with Final Fight very well.
Street Fighter CEIs there going to be one board in particular that would be needed for a CPS1 multi?
CPS 1.5 games use their own special A-board, they cannot run on a 12mhz CPS1 a-board.Only the CPS 1.5 games, as well as CE and HF really need the 12mhz board, all others games should work on a 10mhz short board (someone correct me if I’m wrong here).
Sounds like I have a project after the semester : )Whether you have a 10Mhz or 12Mhz 68k processor, you can switch between 10Mhz and 12 Mhz with a very simple mod adding a 12/10Mhz crystal (depending on your board) and a switch. That would make your board work with everything.
But I think that a 12Mhz board is ok for everything, unless a game pops up which runs faster than intended with at 12mhz
The real plan is to design a new B board (but A and C boards would still be needed).Street Fighter CEIs there going to be one board in particular that would be needed for a CPS1 multi?
I've discovered 1941 does...Whether you have a 10Mhz or 12Mhz 68k processor, you can switch between 10Mhz and 12 Mhz with a very simple mod adding a 12/10Mhz crystal (depending on your board) and a switch. That would make your board work with everything.

Wouldn't it be more accurate to use a real B-board, and design a kit to interface with that? The real plan is to design a new B board (but A and C boards would still be needed).
This. The only exception to this I can see is if a specific B-board was required, and the owner didn't have that specific game (but did have a A/C from that combo).
Another job for the DFO?Whether you have a 10Mhz or 12Mhz 68k processor, you can switch between 10Mhz and 12 Mhz with a very simple mod adding a 12/10Mhz crystal (depending on your board) and a switch. That would make your board work with everything.

Same I checked my HF on the weekend and it's on a 10. It's the only working CPS1 board I have at the moment. Guess I'm going to have to start looking or do the crystal mod.I got jipped by getting a mismatched 10 with HF, but on the plus side: it’s never failed. It gets along with Final Fight very well.
Let me know when you do it, I'll see if I can get around to it at the same time so we can compare and contrast experiences.Same I checked my HF on the weekend and it's on a 10. Hey Corey,Well, a little birdy told me that Saturday there might be a big announcement about this new multi!what about a multi for the system Tatsunoko Vs Capcom comes on
I believe it was a joke because the TVC hardware only has 1 game on it.Hey Corey,Well, a little birdy told me that Saturday there might be a big announcement about this new multi!what about a multi for the system Tatsunoko Vs Capcom comes on
What ever happened with this announcement?
Heh, the arcade version has the superior control... It uses JVS, which as I understand it has waaaaay less input lag than the wireless bluetooth protocol Wiimotes use.Oh no, it was released but you need one disc per game
Don't get me wrong, I bought one from MAK a couple weeks agoHeh, the arcade version has the superior control... It uses JVS, which as I understand it has waaaaay less input lag than the wireless bluetooth protocol Wiimotes use.Even the TvsC sticks (Madcatz made) plug into the Wiimote (and not directly into the console) so its all lag city.
Why not use a wired GameCube fightstick?Heh, the arcade version has the superior control...
