I think you're right. the g-NET patched version of Brave Blade has no music.AFAIR the PSX Raizing hardware has an extra sound chip.

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Arc...rame-IGS-red-card-jamma-game/32619073203.htmlI'd love to buy a PGM and they are cheap for just the console but I've been looking for a decent deal for the console plus a working cart and haven't found one yet. it seems easy enough to source the console that I'd might as well just wait to find a game I'm interested in first then snag a console once I've got it.
FTFYand the board comes with a fantastic mahjong game
This really would be cool...I'd love a Naomi cart, I could finally unhook the NetDIMM and the Pi that's feeding it. First world problems though. CPS1 would be amazing as well of course.
The Naomi is obviously one of the great arcade machines with the most titles - next to the Neo Geo, I think it is in a class by itself. Most of us struggle at some point with touchy power and difficulties with GD-rom games and the hassle of the Pi for net booting. To me, the Naomi is an obvious choice for the next project and would be up there with the Neo Geo multi-cart as far as title and playability (especially considering it plays Atomiswave games as well). Here's hoping for the Naomi multi! This really would be cool...I'd love a Naomi cart, I could finally unhook the NetDIMM and the Pi that's feeding it. First world problems though. Imagine using the same engine as the Neo to run the menu. That would save a lot of time.
Sorry undamned but I've just gotta "thumbs down" this comment. As much as I'd enjoy having a simplified NAOMI solution, I see that as a "when we run out of other cool things" project. We have a working NAOMI solution. Elegant? Maybe not, but it does get the job done.
So, you'd rather have people working on improving the internal combustion car, than working on an all-new electric one? Or maybe I am misunderstanding your post or undamned's post, because what I understand from UD's post is that he wants progress in other "unexplored" areas (and I agree with that). Sure, it would be nice improving the already existent NAOMI kit, but wouldn't it be nicer to create something entirely new? especially when resources (like DS abilities) are limited...Sorry undamned but I've just gotta "thumbs down" this comment. Its that attitude I am so sick of hearing, not just here (on arcade-projects) but in life in general...As much as I'd enjoy having a simplified NAOMI solution, I see that as a "when we run out of other cool things" project. "What we have is good enough"
I just want to scream at them whenever I hear it...
"People like you (folks who say this) do NOT change the world, they don't make a difference.
Nothing in this world is or has ever been perfect, but what? That means we give up the quest for perfection and just move on?
NEVER!"
You understood my point perfectly, aha2940.So, you'd rather have people working on improving the internal combustion car, than working on an all-new electric one? I agree!I think making a Naomi multi would be nice. It can be sold for a price of 400 USD and will have loading times of about a 30-40 seconds for 256Mb games. Is it worth? Will people pay that amount?
