Spectral vs Generation - Input Lag

Hi everyone,

I have just acquired Spectral vs Generation for the PGM, but I am running into an issue that I don't have in any of my other games... lag in the controller.

Basically, sometimes the game is not registering my keypresses (i.e.: I press punch and it doesn't register).

This is very strange, because it does not happen with any other of my PGM games (i.e.: Martial Masters, Killing Blade, etc.), but obviously is affecting my gameplay.

Is this game known for having lag? Everything else seems to work perfectly with the game (graphics, sound, etc.)

And, because I know some of you may ask, here are my specs:
- PGM Board v14
- Super Gun
- USB Arcade Joystick
- Sony Trinitron CRT TV (using component cables)

@NightShadowPT have you given the game a run on MAME to see how it reacts compared to the other titles you have?

I doubt it would be the cart would be causing any input lag. I'd just assume that's how it is?

I own the pcb version and there was no noticeable lag as far as I can tell. This is pretty odd!

Interesting problem. Which super gun are you using and how is the controller hooked up (USB, DB15 etc).
