See post 125Does that mean there shall be no need to sacrifice a cartridge for the F3? And the F3 multi design is effectively a cartridge that plugs right into the F3 mainboard?

attaboyI just started an unofficial Preorder Interest Check for the Taito F3 Multigame:
Check it out:

+1 - Daksoft just keeps getting better & better with the multis. Also, I see a nice progression from all the multi's going from jumpers (ST-V), to external LCD selector (CPS2), to rudimentary soft menu (CPS3), and finally to open source soft menu (NeoGeo). I like the security afforded by the soft menu. I also like not needing cab modification for mounting options of external game selectors. For that, just want to reaffirm my preference for the soft menu->write to memory->reload to the same game upon subsequent power cycles->select new game with key CP button sequence->end/repeat.
The only diferences AFAIR it was that small plastic thing that stopped cartridges from different regions inserting properly on the slot. It's just a mechanical measure, so not really a protection if you ask me.I just bought a Europe F3 motherboard.
Will this work with the Multicart?
What are the differences from the Japan version?
Thank you,I believe there's 4, USA, Japan, Europe and Asia
Even better is to find a reasonably priced Multicart...I'm hoping to find a reasonably priced Elevator Action Returns, have a Puzzle Bobble 3 at the moment![]()
True Dat!and much better is to have both![]()
uffff that's $200 + comission + shipping in Japan + shipping to US. That can get up $350-400 easily....http://page15.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/t496516379
Keep an eye on that to see how much it's gone up by....
I got mine for $50 just a couple of years ago - came with artwork too....
I would say no. Simply because you didn't get a cartridge for it. No way of knowing fully if the mobo works until you either get a cart for it, or Darksoft's multi is available.Yaaa!
My Taito F3 motherboard just shipped today from Roma, Italy!
I should have had him send me some tomatoes...
$99 Euro, is that a good price?
