Hey all!

My crappy supergun from Aliexpress has run its course and I’m in the market for a nice super gun. Open to models (with pics/notes) but really would love an axunworks unit or something similar. Specifically something encased in some capacity/no bare or open pcb’s please. Willing to pay close to new prices for those in great condition!

I had repriced this guy down from $US550 shipped to $US350 shipped.
But then had to withdraw it from sale because shipping from the middle of nowhere where I live went way up. I didn't want to look silly dropping the price then raising it again.

If you are still looking maybe we could sort something out to cover the higher shipping costs...

Thank you for reaching out! I really appreciate it! Very impressed by your build here.

It sounds a little complicated, however, on the shipping and price front but to be honest my biggest issue is one all us arcade hoarders can relate to: space. I’m not sure this specific super gun would jive well with my setup/space limitations (especially with the external vertical power supply unit). I’m also looking for one preferably with a Sega Saturn port built in if at all possible as I use that mainly in my setup currently. I’ll definitely reach out to you if other options don’t pan out and if you’re still open to selling though! Again thanks for the offer!

Honestly I was a bit concerned with bare/exposed super gun models because dust/impact protection or lack thereof (I’ve had and issue where a mic stand broke my last super gun from another maker) but maybe I can find a third party case somewhere or at least acrylic. Thanks for this! I think it’s time to pick up a HAS! I’ve heard amazing things about it and the fact that it might (???) work with my GSCART switch is really promising.

Hype! Exactly what I’m looking for and to hear all y’all’s positive praise means a lot! I went ahead and filled out a preorder form 🙏. Will tentatively close this out for now but if anyone does have any other options/spare guns (the super kind)—hmu! Always open to options!

You’ll also need a power supply. I recommend the Meanwell RT-85A. You can get it from Digikey.

Also a reminder you’ll need a video cable for your monitor or whatever but I believe @RGB has some options?
 
You da bes, thanks for the heads up mate! I went and watched Smokemonster’s tutorial and now I understand the full setup. Initially didn’t think I would need an external PSU then logic hit lol. I’m too used to the CBOX gun (which has so many issues I’m so sick of it/this will be a godsend).
