Hello, I bought a Vewlix cabinet with Fast IO board like this and need to connect my TTX2 board that only have JVS input and I am struggling to find the right stuff for this, I understand I need something like Fast IO input board fot TTX2 or is there other option?

Also, what would be the best option to connect TTX2 to cabinet with standard Jamma?

Thank you

You need to get either a JVS IO like the Taito one or a Sega IO with an adapter
Or you can find a Fast IO DMAC card to add Fast IO support to your Type X2.

As far as jamma, I think the lowest resolution the Type X2 will output is 480p and most games are 720p, though they'll run letterboxed in 480p. It looks pretty bad imo. Anyway to do that you can either use the Fast IO you have (if you find the DMAC card), or use a JVS/Jamma IO like from Sega or Taito.

Thank you, I was afraid of that, those seems to be hard to find.

As for the Jamma part, I have Chewlix cabinet with jamma wiring inside, but it has LCD screen with DVI connector (to which it was hooked by one of those CGI to VGA card, so everything looks bad on it), so I would run sound and video separately and only use Jamma for controls, coun acceptor etc. Should that work okay?

The pxlmod Sega JVS IO adapter is a really good option imo, and it's cheap.

I'm not personally familiar with Chewlixes, but running video over DVI directly sounds like a better idea than running it over the Jamma harness and through the scaler. Using something like a Sega JVS/Jamma IO should be totally fine for controls only.

But I will also need this to work with it right? https://www.ebay.com/itm/394363116400

No, you'd be using the Sega IO with adapter in place of the Taito JVS IO.

Just wanted co confirm and thank you gain. The PXLMod board works great it Vewlix (currently trying some Naomi games there) and for the Chewlix with Jamma I bought the JVS to JAMMA converter from Jammastar.com and its working great too. Using that just for controls and coin acceptor and video + audio goes separate ways. Working great witk SF4 on TTX2. I will try to use that original Taito IO board with TTX3 I have ordered. Really happy I made it work.
