I've been wanting to do something like this for a long time as I've always found it annoying/tedious looking up IC pinout when repairing boards. I decided to give it a go a couple weeks ago. Its far enough along that its useful so I wanted to share. Its website based project that can provides quick and easy access to IC pinouts, IC truth tables, pin in/out direction, what pin(s) are viable for audio probing, etc.

You can see it in action here

An IC is just config file that gets rendered (svg) by the browser.

It currently has support for rendering DIP, SIP, PLCC and QFP packages, plus Edge Connectors (ie JAMMA/MVS). The details you see under the IC are in markdown (in the IC config file), which is also rendered by the browser.

Here is the github repo

https://github.com/jwestfall69/uc-ic/

There is no server side code, so you should just be able to checkout the repo to a webserver and it should just work. For my test webserver above I just have an hourly cronjob that does a git pull to keep it up to date with changes.

For my use case, I load it up on an old ipad and have it in front of my while working on a board.

This is still a work in progress. Aside from adding more ICs and maybe more renderers, I need to do a better job on the css/div/html mess in index.html and also write up docs going over adding new ICs configs.
