Same hereOMG I have like 5 billion USB cables, but no USB A to A. I take it this won't work with A to C type? I'm not getting the flashing lights when I use this type of cable.
No idea, just USB A into the UD, then into the laptop, nothing. Eh, I just ordered an A to A from Bezos, I guess he gets another $4 out of me today.Same here
Have a ton of other USB cables but for some miracle I was able to find a male to male USB Cable to update the firmware
If you have an adapter I don't see why it wouldn't work for you
They're about 10$CAD on Amazon here so I had to do some heavy digging lolNo idea, just USB A into the UD, then into the laptop, nothing. Eh, I just ordered an A to A from Bezos, I guess he gets another $4 out of me today.
Yes you do. Plug it into your PC, open the updater software, then power the supergun while holding down the button on the UD adapter. Red and Green lights flashing mean it's in update mode. Release the button, then use the software to load the FW and press enter.Don't you need to power the undamed adapter through your supergun, and then plug it into your PC to do the firmware update?
Thanks for all that testing!!! I don't own any of those, so this is really helpful!Tested a few things on the new firmware.
Hori Xbox Fighting Commander Octa
Hori Fighting Stick Mini for PS4 - Tested PS3 & PS4 mode
8bitdo SN30 Pro USB
8bitdo M30 USB for Xbox
8bitdo Neo Geo Wireless - Tested USB & 2.4G
Victrix Pro BFG in USB mode - Tested USB only. PC setting doesn't work at all; in PS4/PS5 mode, the left stick triggers all inputs, and other buttons do nothing.
Retro-Bit Saturn 2.4G V1 - Works, but not ideal for fight pad use b/c key mapping (not UD-USB's fault). Only V2 and Pro models are currently available.
IIRC the Hori Fighting Stick Mini and Retro-Bit Saturn controllers didn't work on the 1.4 firmware. @undamned thanks for the update!
I only tested coin, start, UDLR, and B1/B2/B3. I didn't test B4/B5/B6 because I was using my Denjin Makai 2 board.
Any chance you’d add support for the 8bitdo Neo Geo Wireless 2.4G if I order you one? Thanks for all that testing!!! I don't own any of those, so this is really helpful!
Support for the 8bitdo Neo Geo would be amazingAny chance you’d add support for the 8bitdo Neo Geo Wireless 2.4G if I order you one?
Edit: To be clear, I’m pleased as punch with the latest update and don’t feel entitled to more. But if you were inclined to add support for more inexpensive, arcade-oriented gamepads, I would be happy to donate a controller for the cause!
Sure! I'm a happy to add more! Already have a running list of stuff for another release and that would make a nice addition! I'll shoot you a message.Any chance you’d add support for the 8bitdo Neo Geo Wireless 2.4G if I order you one?

Good to know! Thanks for this. I’ll pick some up from Paradise hopefully soon then.I have a large stock of DB15 that I just need to send out to distros. The Terminal Block will continue to me made by Paradise. I can probably work something out to get some of those out to other distros.
LOL. When did they restock? I've been watching that site like a hawk.Is it just me or the moment they get restocked at Paradise Arcade it gets sold out instantly?
Me too, I don't think they were ever actually available though.I got an email 13 days ago saying it got restocked - the moment I clicked on it to buy some, it was already sold out haha
