Hello all! I have an unenclosed monitor (WG K7500), no cabinet, that I use for medium res games. I also have a 1 year old. I want to make things safer around the house but don't have space for a full cabinet, but if I wanted to build an enclosure for just the monitor, are there any special ventilation concerns? Are holes in the sides and a fan in the back enough, or is it trickier than that? Any insight would be helpful, thank you!!

I would look at any consumer tv or monitor for inspiration. Basically you don't need much. Arcade cabinets have a large volume but most don't have more than a few holes at the top and no fans at all. Any active cooling with a fan would be more than enough as long as it isn't also completely enclosed in furniture.

Yeah, I thought I was over thinking this. That makes plenty of sense; thanks!
