Hi guys,

I have a Vewlix F on the way and before to buy items for my new setup I would like to have some advises from you about how to power all up.

Vewlix F is coming with its original configuration which I want to keep for now. I will run just a PC and I have already made a size compatible PC build to install inside (here described https://www.arcade-projects.com/threads/ideal-pc-cases-for-arcade-pcs.18593/post-440179 ).

My initial idea is power the Vewlix through the classic step-down converter used for Japanese candies (I have the 230V here), so powering the original monitor, amp, lights etc. and to install and extension socket inside, connected to the 230V, to power the PC and future additions. Am I in the good track with that?

Is there a better way to power everything? Perhaps using just one PSU? Perhaps I will replace the monitor and install a new amp in the future and maybe will make a sense to power every thing with only one PSU (?) I will be glad to see some pictures of your Vewlix + PC wiring setup.

Thanks

Not sure if it's better or not, but you can convert a Vewlix F to 230V by replacing the two PSUs:

Thanks for the link! I will have a look... I received it last weekend and am running it with a step-down converter...
..I am trying to gather as much info as possible to have a clear idea of what to do...

Do you know how to power up the PC using the Nesica reader? I would like to give it a nice function.

I'm not sure how that would. If the NFC reader is connected to the computer and the computer is off, then the reader is off as well.

Well, I will turn on the cab first and the NFC will be on with that, and after that, I will turn on the PC ...anyway, I will open a thread about that, thanks
