Vewlix rear fan replacement

Hi guys,

Just asking for some advice about the Vewlix fan arrangement.

I got my first Vewlix F recently which I have dismantled, washed piece by piece and mounted back upstairs.

I running a PC inside installed on a bespoke test bench and with a good CPU and GPU air cooler system.

My Vewlix came with 5 original fans: one 120mm at the bottom panel, two 60mm at the top behind the monitor frame and two 80mm inside the monitor frame. Of course, they are very noisy, so I am running just the two inside the monitor frame and I disconnected the others at the moment. Also, I have bought a replacement for the 120mm one and I am going to install it over the weekend.

1) Do I need all the fans operating, considering that the cab is not located in a free smoking game centre anymore and it won't operate for long sessions?

2) Will just the 120mm fan installed at the bottom panel be enough?

3) Are the two fans located inside the monitor frame essential? could I disconnect them? (I will probably replace the stock monitor in the next month)

Thanks for your comments

1) No, you don't need them all operating.
2) Yes.
3) They are essential. If you disconnect them, the monitor will stop working.

If you replace the monitor, the one 120mm at the bottom should be fine. Since you're running a PC, you can always check temps to be certain.

I though that but I wanted to have a feedback from another user, thanks.
I successfully replaced it today and I will post some pics about it

By disconnecting them , monitor works but showing the alert OSD message. So, I found a good offer and I will replace the monitor in the next weekend ...however I will replace the two fans at the top of the cab maybe, just to have them in working order...
