You are correct, need to print it on the actual brushed aluminium foil. Found a good match so that is no problem.

I plan to print it with two layers, a base white and the red on top for opacity. If I do that the red looks normal, as if printed on white vinyl.
If I don't use a base white underneath the red will indeed look more metallic from aluminium vinyl.
So all depends on what finish we are looking for but both are possible and not that expensive.

I print all myself by the way, don't outsource anything. I have the equipment to print white.

I would for sure be in for a print. You’re in the Netherlands right? How much do you think a set will be?

@joeks don‘t want to be pushy just asking if we can expect you to provide those C Stickers. Reason I am chasing you again is because I need to take a decision on buying a scratched C and it depends a bit onnif I can order repo stickers or not.
So sorry for asking again however a prognosis is highly appreciated

Can someone please measure the following 3 measurements A, B and C. for me? The file I am using (not made myself) has a double cut contour line so I don't know whether to use the inner or outer line for plotting. Difference is 8 mm in size, 4 on each side.

Does it feel/look like there is a protective layer (gloss?) over the red artwork? Think if I would laminate or only UV print on top of the brushed chrome vinyl

It appears to be layered...

Bottom layer is the brushed metal/foil.
Red paint is applied to the foil.
Clear/protective film cover

Here is the first test print for the Vewlix C side art (after first posting it in the wrong thread, sorry for that). A white underneath with a red layer on top, printed on the highest resolution on brushed chrome vinyl.
Some photos taken during printing, others after applying gloss laminate.

Red color is more vibrant in real life, blame my Samsung phone.

Plotting the material seems to be a bit of a headache though, did get serious misalignment issues. Have to sort that out.
