Bought these a few years back, haven't done much with them. I've been on the lookout for another twin to complete the setup, however I haven't found any recently.
All three Hikaru units work perfectly. I would prefer to sell as a set to someone who would keep them original and perform any restoration or upkeep needed to do so, rather than gutting or converting them. Maybe you already have a twin and are looking for the rest of the setup.
The twin could use a bit of love on the paint and the seat cushions, however everything else appears functional, and all parts seem to be present aside from the center partition between the units.
Artwork is in great shape, with only a small tear/scratch on the side of one of the marquees. I also have the instructional acrylics that sit on the card readers (not pictured).
The 2P joysticks were pretty destroyed, so I removed them for parts. However I will install the two almost-new sticks pictured, prior to sale.
Some burn-in of the title screen on all CRTs.
The Terminal is in great shape, just needs a little cleaning, and has a few scuffs on the side pillars from moving down some wooden stairs which should easily buff out. a small tear in the side pillar art on one side.
I do not have the marquee or marquee holder unfortunately.
I rotated the screen non-destructively as I used it for shmups in my condo for a while. I'll rotate it back for you.
Currently has an ikaruga instructional card. The VO4 one is underneath, which I will also correct.
Terminal software version is 7.7, which is undumped.
I haven't checked the Twin, however given that these both came from KC and he got them in stock about the same time, they likely came from the same place and are probably also 7.7.
I haven't networked the three units together, however the twin will need some new optical cables. They worked when I tested them initially, however they appear to have gone bad and I didn't have any replacements on hand.
The card readers all worked when I tested them, and you can use Initial D cards. However I personally would recommend using YACardEmu, which I contributed to specifically to support VO4.

Full res pictures including imperfection closeups.
Video demos of the cabs working.
There was no power at the storage unit so I needed to use a pure sine inverter and an isolation transformer for testing.

Prefer local pickup. Located in Massachusetts, USA. I have little experience in shipping, however I can ask around for reputable outfits for these sorts of machines.
Due to the nature of shipping Hikarus, I cannot guarantee that they will work on arrival if shipped.
I am willing to remove the Hikarus from the units and pack the PCBs separately from the cages so that the GPUs are more secured should you opt for freight shipping. This will require re-assembly from you on arrival should you choose this.
Asking 9000.01 USD for both.
