Zintrick with tracks

If you are familiar with Python, you can try to run it through 'PyMusicLooper' see here:
https://github.com/arkrow/PyMusicLooper/blob/master/README.md

This program takes a 'music.wav' and it will make intro.wav, loop.wav outro.wav for you. I used it a lot for my projects :)
The thing is NGFX SoundBuilder only supports one solid track. You can't add a separate loop file or anything. It just has a loop toggle. That's why I think something similar to what I posted will work best.

If you listen to the way the Blazing Star stage 2 music loops, the timing is not quite perfect, so it stumbles slightly, but to me it's just part of the original experience.

I have no idea how the sound tracking/playback works.
For my DCS hacking i just play the intro, then loop the loop x times, then the outro, if needed.
Does the Neo not support playing it in 3 parts or more?
No you can just activate a loop flag, so you need a track that can already finish in the correct way.

@pierpa86 if my file didn't work well, you can just cut the silence from the beginning of track, and then delete everything after about 1:11. May take some trial and error to make it sound good.

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to derail this. I'm just very opinionated with Neo Geo stuff. I think your project is fantastic.

Love you too man <3

Seems i found a way from your track.

Test it out.

Tried it out. The loop isn't perfect, but it's pretty good now. Good enough.

Only thing I noticed is now for some reason the voice in the intro is playing too slow.

=O I was so overwhelmed by the main problem that I didn't notice.
Now I'm going to sort out all the effects.

This one is better. I think the problem is you cut off part of the beginning of the song, and I don't think you need to do that.

What did you end up doing for the other songs in the game? I think you should do something similar for all of the other tracks that should loop.

I just fade out the end of your sample, other song are full no cut off.

The 1:11 version with no fade out. Just immediately repeat. The fade out is what I'm trying to avoid.

I like it! This one is really good. This is more or less how I wish all the NGFX SoundBuilder conversions were done.

But I'll stop meddling and let you do it your way.

By the way, to test each of these I have to rename all the roms like this to create a .neo file:

Hi,
I've only just found this thread, so apologies for the necro-bump! In case of any interest (if not already seen), I was also working on an update for Zintrick a few years back to integrate some of the cd soundtracks. Footage is here
View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IIYzMZu-mt0&t=8s

Would love to share experiences/findings if any interest.
I only have access to Mame to run the build, so no idea if this will work on real hardware!

Cheers
Matt

Dude all sound track are in, rom is shared but I think there no way to put also voice. The driver audio have multi page so need a massive change on program and many more complex things.

"The file you are trying to download is no longer available!" is there a current link? I find myself with the trifecta of flash carts (NeoSD Pro, Darksoft Mult, Blackbit) and would be interested in trying it out.
