The volume knob on my remote works fine with stereo out, which is how I get audio from Mistercade. Might be just for that and not for the jamma mono audio?
Looks like 24" length is needed for these cabs. Thanks for the responses and confirmation.
Likely will bypass the existing fixture and just use the replacement as-is. What should my wiring look like in this case? I'm not sure what the color scheme is in the cab to line up with the replacement...
Right, but that's for a *new* Astro City, which I said I don't have. I found that thread also. Would be good to have feedback from another Astro City owner who has gone through this if possible. I don't want to make mistakes here in case there's a size difference for the light between each cab.
Not sure if my search skills are lacking but I can't seem to find info on the marquee light for the original Astro City cab. Seen some stuff for the New Astro City but I don't have that cab for comparison and I'm not sure if the same size and type light bulb will work here for me.

@kikaso can you confirm the size of the knurled thumb nuts you're using for the control panel? I swap panels often on Sega candies and making that job quicker would be awesome.
Great job on the restore btw. This has been very enjoyable to follow.
@ImportantBet I assumed that would be the case but I wanted to make sure so that I can plan my config accordingly before making a purchase. Would be good to hear back from OP in case there are options available for a -5v module.
@Crown Arcade Shop to be clear, does this harness include the option to create -5v or just support it if the power supply already does it? In my case, I would want to use this in a Versus City cab but my power supply does not come with -5v. I have options to make it all work either way but I...
It's mostly Tekken 5 DR but I'd like to see a list of what games support each resolution if that's out there. I wasn't aware there were limitations per game.
This is all good info and likely the method I will take as well re: OSSC. I just really need to know the right dip settings on the 256. Whatever I've tried so far doesn't produce a 480p signal in my testing. I can get the low res signal just fine but as you said the IO board softens the image...
That's encouraging and thanks for sharing your results. I don't own a PAL Wii, so I'll likely need to get creative in terms of getting compatible video out of my NTSC console.
@JohnRambo'sKnife this is a jamma device by design. In your case for a JVS system you may need to explore other options...
