Differences between 357 and 369:
357A = PS3 Phat 256mb NAND (With extra crypto on HDD)
357C = PS3 Phat NOR
369 = PS3 Slim NOR
So each are same on GPU/CPU power so there isn't really any difference in performance side.
Reason why 357 games won't run on 369 and via verse is because of system specific checks and they use different HDD crypto.
You have to be very specialized in the PPC assembler and patch the DEX firmware to run on GEX to enable debugging. Different ATA, ATA TWEAK, ENCDEC keys.4x 256bit

Arcade firmware GEX:

A friend of mine converted his CECHL00 (VER-001) to arcade and installed 4.40 GEX OFW after converting, his system fully bricked but he was able to fix it by reflashing, the system does not brick if he installs 2.51 or 3.10
This occurs because since firmware 4.30 an eid0 signature check was added in lv1ldr, lv1ldr would have to be patched in order for the firmware to run if you manually converted the unit and did not use a donor eid0 (from a real GEX dump for instance).

You know most of this information is old/false right?
If there are any errors, please point them out for me and I will correct them so that I will not mislead everyone.
I don't have more say in terms of arcade hardware because I rarely practice it, I just want to discuss this issue with everyone, and I believe everyone who owns 3xx hardware will also discuss this issue.

I don’t think it’s still the right time to share any information, it’s up to @Darksoft or @Mitsurugi-w imo…

must be a usa canada thing , cant say i have seen any in my part of the UK

From what I do know, Namco still has some support for Razing Storm and DeadStorm Pirates, needless to say, they still offer minimal “repairs/support”.

I know operators with Deadstorm and Raizing Storm in some lower end theaters, etc.

I'm very sorry, I shouldn't have generalized
It’s fine, it’s up to us to take care of this hardware as the PS3 is basically now abandonware (besides the few yearly fw updates to keep the Blu-ray keys up to date). I’m just saying that right now, the system is still at a grey area as Namco still has minimal support for the time being.

Deadstorm still makes money at Centre Parks here in the UK.
