Selling my rebuilt New Astro City cab.
It has been fully painted professionally, cleaned, new single control panel, monitor replaced. Chassis has been re-capped and enhancement mod done. PSU re-capped.
comes with marquee. If you want dual player control panel I can throw that in if you preferred.

The colors seem kinda off on that monitor, have you tried adjusting it? Also, is it a Toshiba or Hitachi MS9?
Are the side art, 100 yen sticker, instruction strip, and panels original or repro?
Do you have any pics of the wiring/internals?
 
Yeah I don't know about colors man, it looks different then the pictures I took. I played with them a little so i took some pics but, honestly I just adjusted them till i said good enough and just left it.

It's a toshiba, but I do have Hitachi too.
Look, I got 3 other monitors if you or anybody else likes one better then the other. Help me swap it and you can have it. Other monitors have barely to no burn too. This one I'm selling has an MS9-29. Only one toshiba I have has an
ms8-29fsg. I'm flexible, if you want to adjust color on the fly and fiddle with colors ir want ms8-29fsg chassis on Hitachi let's do it. It's all good brother

Side art ,sticker and panel are repro. Wiring for controls original. SANWA buttons and joystick NEW. I just switched the single control panel to a 2P panel since it was a request.

Hey man, I'm not trying to give you a hard time, but if you want top dollar for something, you're gonna get the nitpicky questions. Good luck with the sale.
 
Cab looks great, wish I had the spare cash/space for it and i would not hesitate to buy it. @erdrick1980 is solid dude to deal with plus he is offering to let you cherry pick from the tube/chassis he has this is a no-brainer purchase if you are looking for this cab. Add to all that he is on the east coast. I expect this to be gone pretty fast.

Oh yeah forgot to mention I have locks for that control panel too if you want them on. If you want to lock it and stuff.
 
Which monitor and chassis does these cabs originally come with? Also, what is the enhancement mod? I must say, this is a beautiful cab. GLWTS.

Did you repaint it yourself or purchase it like that? I've been looking for a place that does good repaint jobs.
 
I got it here from another member of this forum.

So, no. I didn't paint it.

The only thing I did to it was replace the monitor since the one that came with it had some burn in that you could read Mars matrix on it. bought a coin bucket for it and original control wiring. Also I re- capped the ms9-29 and did the sharpness mod.

Ended up costing me about 3,500+ monitor being most of spending.

Does the PFX monitor fit in these? I have a NOS one and this cab looks amazing, fitting it should get a new monitor. I am so freaking tempted.
 
I agree. Based on recent price trends for sold cabinets (see 310Imports & Ground Zero), $3000 for a cab already on the East Coast in presentable shape with a fresh coat of paint seems not unreasonable to me. I get why old heads might think these prices are high, but it seems in line with the market trends.

They do but you end up with a gap around the bezel. You can just put some weather stripping foam on the back of the bezel to make up for it.
