Problems with cf and cf adapter for naomi

hello everyone, recently I made a CF adapter for Naomi with the gerber from @tecfutur (thank you very much for your gerber) the problem is that the CF does not recognize me (Error 25) open some possibility that the compact flash is incompatible, I used it previously on a Killer instinct pcb or that there is a problem with the adapter

From what I saw on other adapters, they need to be powered.
How's that adapter powered?

@crashman yes, I'm thinking this connector needs to be populated/is the power input.

It is powered at 5V by the CN12 input.

Welp I'm at a loss then, BIOS/Firmware look correct and IF the device is getting proper power as you said...
I can tell you this (and your not going to like it)...

EVEN IF everything was working perfectly (ie loading/playing games) CF sucks so fucking hard I gave away my adapter (I thought that better than smashing it with a hammer).
Yes it pissed me off so much that if you asked me "is any part of this going to be worth the effort when I'm finished" I'd say HELLZ NO!

NetDIMM or carts, GD-ROM is trash and CF is only slightly better than that.

I understand, there will be some possibility that it is the CF I feel that it heats up a bit when receiving the 5V, apart from that I am using a computer power supply to power the naomi console.

I have netdimm I have several, the issue is that I want to use the CF to have it with a single specific game and thus be able to share with friends anywhere we want to get together to play. Naomi console that I have for this purpose is in a terrible aesthetic state just like a gdrom dimm but as I explained before I want to use it for that purpose. I do not want to install a netdimm and at any moment it disappears from my sight or it is stolen when I transport it

Slightly off topic, but where did you source the Male 50pin SCSI Connector? What is the specific manufacturer part number that you used? I have an idea to tackle CF booting, but using another method. Need such a connector to make the idea work.

EDIT: Silly question, but did you set the jumpers correctly on the NetDIMM for GDROM boot?
