Hello. Could somebody please direct me to more info on the "X" cable inside my control panel? Is it for the move strip LED that I don't have?

According to the schematic in my Diamond Black manual, it’s straight AC. Could be for a LED with power adapter, but it’s just marked as option.

Great! Thank you both for confirming this is for the move strip light.

I need to figure out a way to convert this to a 12V for LED lighting.

I would not bother unless you are planning on running some crazy led set up drawing lots of current, etc., you also have to install a PSU for it.

Just about any good quality 12v led strip will work, a 24" 60 led strip will work nicely, especially if it has a dimmer control, or if you fancy you could get rgb strip. You can tie it to the cab's 12v psu. An led strip with about 60 leds should not draw more than 0.5 amps on 12v. Heck you can even try 12v undercabinet lights, etc...

Ummm, the wire marked X is 120v AC not 12v. Be careful.

Yes, it is. I'm just trying to say "convert the line down" to 12V for LED lighting. But I'll leave "X" connector alone and just get my 12V somewhere else.
