For coin functionality to work, you must either hook coin meters or fool it to thinking coin meters are present.
Also many games require coin meters to load such as Super Street Fighter 4, Street Fighter 4, Naomi games like Lupin etc.
The vewlix comes with 1 coin slot/meter, the taito jvs io 60 pin connector has meters listed as follows"
