One week later and still waiting for my package.

It's an odyssey. The package was arrive Thursday 13th and I don't have it yet. They promise me that the package will be arrive tomorrow.

I don't trust in they. It's possible that the package will be returned to SYG. Not for my fault, but for their fault.

@Porthos hey buddy its OK. I got my multi kit here in the US but the box was damage and the main board had multiple pins bent.

Once the package has been shipped, no seller has control to speed it up. If you have a tracking # I'd call to the courier which are the ones delaying your package, not SYG.

I worked many years ago in a transport company, and the packages were treated very badly. Broken boxes with the content spread inside the truck and many others calamities. I hope my package arrive at least in good conditions.

Here are the pics. I was able to bend most pins back straight but one broke. i talked to @Mitsurugi-w and @Darksoft and mitsu will be sending me pins to replace them with.

I dont know but the cps2 kit box was inside another box and one of the corners of the box was crushed so they must have thrown heavy crap on top of it. Ill post a pic of the box when i get home.

I got my cps2 and stv kit today. Although the box is pretty I’m a little upset about how it was packaged. My stv kit and stv case was put inside cps2 box. Being that there was no cut outs for these pieces in the box stuff moved around during transit. I now have broken and bent pins on my cps2 board. 1 came broken and I broke another trying to staighten out. The pins seems very fragile and brittle once bent this way and break way to easily when try to straighten. I’ve included pic of board with broken/bent pins. Any tips on how to fix broken pins and straighten them without breaking them. It’s a little upsetting to be so excited for it to be delivered then not being able to use it right away cause of this. BTW I did pay for separate shipping.

I'm now throwing my hat into this as my package got sent to another zip code as the USPS allege that no address and a wrong zip code was put into their system by Paradise Arcade Shop. Susan of Paradise Arcade Shop sent me what looks like a copy of the USPS page, but it is frustrating to view the tracking history as it gets bounced around in the wrong location repeatedly.

Unfortunately, Paradise Arcade Shop is not as easy to reach as the USPS. I've emailed back Ben from Paradise Arcade Shop with all the information I have including the case number I had opened, so what do I do other than wait?

I now have all pins straightened out to what i think should be good enough but i broke another pin in the process. I now have 3 broken pins.
I hope yours ends up in better condition then mine. Maybe your STV will not be put into cps2 box and be in a separate box

Easy way to straighten those pins is to use a mechanical pencil, with a big tip, like .7 mm and put it on and gently use the pencil as the lever to bend it back. Those pins really suck though and most of the time one bend will result in a break on the bend back.

What do you use to replace the broken pins?

Or how would i get replacement pins for this?

Luckily I ordered the wrong lcd screen for a raspberry pi a while back and had some of these pins in my stash cup



I was able to replace broken pins on cps2 board



Now finally I’m ready for installation. I hope not many other have to go through this. Hopefully what I did will work with no issues now

My kit arrived today and I also have bent pins in the same location. I managed to carefully bend them back and the kit seems to function 100%.
Strange that it's in the same location as DarthMig
