FS Egret 2/Windy 2/NNC/Q25 (Repair refund)

For Sale
I haven't pulled off the back maintenance hatch panel yet, but I noticed this cable dangling which might need to be connected to either the chassis or the neck board?

Thoughts? I'm hopeful that it is something simple that we're missing. Will do some more troubleshooting on it tomorrow.
Looks like one of the yoke connectors, hard to tell in this pic

That would make sense, the first similar thing that came to mind was the yoke connectors on my Nanao MS2930.

If I confirm it goes to the yoke and find where I "think" it should go on the chassis, is there any harm plugging it in the wrong way?

When I've done chassis swaps before I've taken pictures of the correct orientation before removing the old chassis from the tube.

You will get a flipped image. I will check mine when I get home and hopefully its just a simple fix like a unplugged yoke connector.

This should take you to the album of mine, there’s a video where you can hear the weird noise. Nothing loose or disconnected from mine, it is simply not working. I am going to try a few more things in the am but I don’t think this cabinet was tested.

I don't hear anything in radiantsvgun's video either. So the fellas that didn't pick up locally are starting to get their cabs from Cereth already?

@kuze your MS9 looks beautiful bud.

I got my cabinets in today too and I'm having the same issue with my Windy 2. I'm using a 120v to 100v step down and the cab powers on, the marquee glows, the PSU puts out the right voltages to power my Naomi but I don't get any video.
I'm also getting the same constant beeping sound which may be coming from the monitor chassis.

I tried both of the VGA cables connected to the back panel, as well as the VGA connection from the chassis connector directly.

I believe that's the degauss and goes here:

Of course imugr doesn’t have the sound. I’ll try YT. The cabinet does clean up well, just need to sort the monitor and cp and I’ll be set.

You may have to turn the volume up, but you should be able to hear it.

That's the same sound mine makes. Maybe link the video in the AO thread I started too?

Edit: I went ahead and updated the AO thread here.

Yup, my cabs were delivered through STI and not part of the East Coast group shipment though - probably the same for @radiantsvgun.

Thanks! I can't wait to clean up the cab and get a shmup going on it.

I see that it's mentioned about the beeping, but is there a clicking sound too? And is there any neck glow and/or static on the screen?

I had a clicking chassis a while back, with no screen static of neck glow, and i'm sorry to say it was thought that the flyback was faulty. A replacement chassis was my resolution.

No clicking on mine, just the beeping. No neck glow. I reached out to Sharp Image Repair and they have agreed to look at it for me.

Worst case scenerio, the Sanwa PFX goes in the Windy and I have to figure out a bezel solution.

Have you already pulled the chassis? Is it possible there is a 100v / 240v switch setting somewhere?

Did yours make any clicking noise?

If there was a switch for voltage change, all of them would have been set like that. The fact that some got working one's and some didn't just means they weren't tested.
Further backed up by the several dead on arrival E2s.

Nothing like yours. There was some clicking at the start. I use I/O, Video, and audio #1
