Not sure if this has been asked in the last 83 pages but will the AES version be able to run games that were only released for MVS? e.g Shock Troopers

the answer is YES.
Can you tell us what hardware differences the multicart needs to be compatible with the AES?

The mva cartridges has more pins than the AES.

Also the neo zmc is inside the neo geo aes cartridge while on the mvs it's inside the hardware.

I might have to vote for trump if this is true :D JK

Nevermind, as it turns out Darksoft has rejected Trumps offer to buy all MVS multis, Darksoft was heard answering Trump with "Dont touch my works of art, I dont get political like that!" :D Mods please feel free to delete these silly posts. I am going on 48hrs of no sleep and I am still at work ||

Sorry not going to read 80+ pages to see if this has already been clarified. I know you said you wouldn't allow for 3rd party/Indie developer games, but what about stuff like Ironclad and Ghostlop?

Wait what? Why wouldn't it work with games like that ? Seems to me it will work like any other Flashcart. If the rom is in the right format it should play ...

Right ?

Darksotf's not gonna make a device to pirate games that are being currently produced new (NG:Dev and Neobitz come to mind). Ironclad and Ghostlop shoud run fine.

Well I hope then that he will work with home developers to allow them to use the cart to quickly test new games without jumping through too many hoops.

One of the exciting aspects of any flashcart for dead, unsupported systems is HomeBrew

I Wasn't referring to piracy at all. Hacks, cheats and things like that which are out in the wild and have been for years should all run fine I would expect.

Hope so

One thing I am looking forward to is the day the cart is released it will pretty much kill the market for all those crappy MVS multi carts... I hate those things with a passion even though I own one begrudgingly

That will stick it to the actual pirates

As has been said many times here the cart will have enough memory to support the largest OFFICIALLY released games. I think only one NEO DEV game is below that threshold but has protection. Doubt it will ever work. Other NEO DEV simply will not work because there won't be enough memory. And yes it was designed with this limitation on purpose.

The cart can be used homebrew creators if they want but they will have the same memory limits as the original releases.

BOOO, Neo DEV . those guys are slime balls. can't release their games on Steam like a regular developer. they got to exploit an ever dwindling market for all they can. their business model is manipulative BS.
I can't wait for someone to crack their games.

Didn't they also lobby to make sure the DS multi wouldn't support their games?

BOYCOTT Neo DEV team, forever!
