Demand is higher than supply at the moment, but Terasic themselves has some in stock on their website.

I should have been helpful and told him that. They just want you to wire and charge a $30.00 fee. It's only viable when doing student discount orders in a group buy imo.
I just snagged a MiSTercade, where do you folks buy the DE10-nano boards these days?
Be prepared for the hoops if you just want one. But ShootTheCore is absolutely correct. Didn't mean to be a wiseass, not intentional.

Yes, I checked there before coming here but the stock says "Contact Us", and I did that, but haven't heard back.

A bank wire to buy from their website? Odd. I can live with the $30 fee.

I'm not easily offended so we're cool.

Answering my own questions for Internet points.

If you click "Need other payment options" (or similar) at checkout you can pay with PayPal. DE10-Nano on the way.

They got back to me with a sensible explanation, at the end of the day, there's no problem if you're just buying 1 unit for personal use.

Just want to post a quick update:

I've tested the mistercade with the de10 nano power adapter, and the color saturation was the same, so I don't think is the PSU, anyway, I did some minor adjustments and I'm now happy with the picture.

Nevertheless, when my jamma extender arrives, I will try to make somo adjustments and will post the results.

it's been a while.

just a quick update, I wired some 120 ohm resistors in the rgb lines, and now the image is perfect!!

I've found that 270 ohm series resistors on the R, G, and B lines and 680-750 ohm series resistor on the H-sync line output 0.7V RGB and -0.3V Csync on a 75 ohm display. I may spin up a few standalone adapters to make life easy :)

This is exactly what I needed! I've been trying to figure out why the mistercade and jpac had contrast issues on my Astro City. They both look perfect on the Konami Windy with the Toshiba chassis. But the Nanao MS8-29FSG wasn't having it. I added those exact resistors to each line and it did the trick.

I had a feeling it wasn't the monitor because the MVS looked totally fine on the Astro.

Thank you!

For those with 15khz arcade monitors - has anyone been playing around with custom modelines for non native 15khz cores ? These obviously differ between arcade machine monitors, but i noticed a lot of us here are using Sega Astro City cabs (myself included). So can probably share settings and get mostly the same results. I managed to get X68000 looking a lot better, but not yet perfect.

I'd be keen to see what you have @Flain -- the modelines I'm using for X68k are just ok.

Also, has anyone had any issues getting Strider to run on a PVM in the X68k core? It doesn't seem to sync right for me.

Here is the current setting (i took it from teleozoic in the mister forums), it's not ideal as there is overscan in some games and the image is a bit to the left. It is 100x better than going with a full on downscale to 320x240 though.

Once you update MiSTer.ini with the below, you then need to go into the video settings in the core and enable full screen stretch. Then for some games turn on integer V-scale as the scaling mode to remove shimmering (on some games the setting doesn't do anything, on others it does, for example you can see it change in street fighter champion edition). Run a game and the setting should take effect.

[X68000]
vga_scaler=1
vsync_adjust=2
vscale_mode=0
video_mode=1024,116,72,160,256,1,1,3,20400

It definitely needs tweaking

Not sure if I'm missing something, or I'm dumb - but two questions:

1. When I set up button configs, say for Neo Geo (arcade) and save settings, then restart the game/core, the button config is not saved. I have to reset it each time.

Is there something I'm doing wrong here?

2. I noticed settings DO save for something like the Genesis core. I had to go in and tell it to use the 6 button controller and games like Street Fighter and Eternal Champs were able to be played just fine.

But for the Neo core, it doesn't save the settings. It's not a MASSIVE issue but just one I'd like to see if I can fix. Im not sure this is really the MiSTercade's fault, or something going on with my MiSTer itself.

Does this occur with the Neo geo console core?
