CPS1 Multi. Official Thread

With the number of good brains existing around here, I'm pretty sure someone will figure out an extension of some type for the dip switches so we could have the dip-switches as accessible as the LCD screen is. Since I will need to go into my cabinet to change games on the LCD screen anyway, if the dip-switches are accessible when I'm changing games, it would be a win for me.
 
@Mitsurugi-w is it safe to assume the DB15 ports for player 3 & 4 follow "standard" Neo Geo pinout?

Excellent idea on that add-on board btw. Definitely makes my life a ton easier whenever I'll be able to get my hands on this multi, both with those ports and the CPS2 style kick harness attachment.
 
Sort of. Cps1 extra player pinout is only 10 wires. Two of those are ground. So the only pins on the db15 that are connected are up, down, left, right, Button A, Button B, start, coin (select), ground, and then 5v comes from a different source via a connector and wire connected to the multi.

Where will the add ons for the CPS1 Multi be open for orders when the time comes? Will it be announced here? I’d hate to miss out.

Hello!

So here is the latest update on production. The blank PCBs have been finally ordered and will be here in 10 working days. I have already booked a spot on the assembly machine, so hopefully in 3 weeks I will start having the first 100 units ready to ship to distributors. We are almost there! I'll post more info and pics as soon as production starts.

Make sure that you have your A and C Boards ready and please read the instructions in forehand!!!

I have C Board 92631C-6 & just bought a 92641C-1 w/ Battery... so I hope that'll be keep me covered. :cigar:

ya ur good with the 92641, thats what i have. im not 100% sure on the 92631c-6 tho, so u might wanna get a second opinion on that. i know ur joking about the listception, but for the ppl here who cant understand humor im sure units r gonna be divvied out buy order number
 
Had to resist the urge of stirring the list pot. Can’t wait for these CPS1 multi’s to be out in the wild. It’s gonna be tight. Ty so much Darksoft and team! I hear the first 100 will have original Q sound chips and 10kHz,12kHz switch mods preinstalled (I lost the battle).
