I am not sure that GunForce will be compatible with this multiM92. Its mobo M92 is different as the other M92

The mobo is the same, the ROM board is different. The compatibility of the multi will depend on if they create a whole new ROM board, which he’s indicated he will in the first post.

What does this 0BJ8 custom chip do?

All A boards of all games the same with M92-A-B lettering.
It seems that Blade Master has the same board as Gunforce 1. It means no MULTI and only fully reversed ROM board? I am attaching pictures of the B boards I have found. Only Dream Soccer 94 (1994) and Perfect Soldiers (1993) are missing. If someone has a picture of those boards pls put them here...

Pls check them guys and confirm which board is usable and the best for MULTIes.

The sound CPUs on original M92 boards run encrypted code, with the decryption keys "baked" into the CPU. They each have different part numbers for that reason. FYI: there is a jumper adjacent to the CPU that you can change to have the sound CPU run decrypted sound code - useful when converting an original M92 ROM board to another game.

We're not sure how the M92 Multi will handle the sound yet, but since Apocalypse was able to successfully decrypt & re-encrypt the sound code on original M92 games years ago, it's a safe assumption that this Multi will run with the original ROM dumps with the encrypted sound code.

If i understand correctly from #1st post , the multi itself will replace the romboard witch in your case it not should matter
