Help with Top3000 Programmer Drivers

There’s generally no problems with the Top3000. I have been using mine for ages with zero issues. Sounds like you got a faulty unit or there’s something funky going on with your operating system.

The other two programmers you mentioned are most likely made in China too.

I’d suggest sending it back as faulty for a replacement and see how you go.

I am wondering why i cannot open the driver install.exe program from an upper version of the soft. it open then directly close. security problem ?
I know those 2 others programmers are made in china, that s why I didnt buy yet one of them. Probably need to disable the device signature as well.

If you have budget and you want to be sure about a good one , look at this one : xeltek superpro 610p .

I would like to use the budget to buy new pcb, instead of expensive programmers. But the superpro 610p is not a chinese stuff as well?

Send it back and get a replacement. Your programmer is probably broken or your computer isn’t compatible.

Posting about it constantly on the forum numerous times a day isn’t going to fix anything.

People are using the same software and programmer that you’ve got with zero issues.

look at this one : xeltek superpro 610p .

I recently was looking at prices for these for a friend. they're on sale for $350 in the official store which is an absolute STEAL for this programmer.

I personally have the older SuperPro 580U and it's an excellent programmer, rock-solid reliable and runs circles around sub $200 Chinese stuff.

If you do any regular programming it's worth every penny to not deal with the BS headaches you get with the Top 3000, GQ4 or TL866

Agreed, went with the Xeltek 610P after my Top3000 died and have been super happy with it. Highly recommended!

Does the software is still updated? Is it possible with it to program eprom 27c322 and 27c801 ?

it supports both of those chips any many newer chips as well.

I just spent almost a day programming a 27c400. Not sure if the chips were bad or the algorithm is broken. It failed every few byte, but when restarted it worked fine and failed a few byte later. Since I'm lazy i just installed an auto-clicker to keep pressing the Write button, and now it was written, and verifies and works fine. Has anyone seen this?

This year is the last year of the win10 support. Does the superpro 610p works of will have an update to run on win11 ?
