Done, its working fine !
Additional space for who need select like AES pad and not as it is written on the original plate.

This is amazing, definitely going to build one. Thanks for your work. Do you have a 3D print file for your shell?

Ordered the PCBs, having a friend 3D print the controller shell, ordered the kaihl switches and keycaps. I also ordered some neogeo 15pin cables, is there an easy method to know which wire to solder where?

Going to build two of these, one for my MVS and another for my friend's AES.

Do you happen to know if this would work for Neo Geo CD without closing the jumper on board? Or if it will work on supergun with other arcade boards?

With home system you need to close jumper.
On supergun its not working becouse you need out pin, and they are not mapped on jamma connector. check where you can find on this thread up.

Presumably on a MV1B/C with a normal Supergun you need to run two cables from the Jong controller to both the Supergun and the JST connector on the MVS, with the 74LS06 logic in between?

Trying to work out how it all bolts together. I don’t know why, but I want one

Easy:
1) Get OUT pin here.

2) from side connector to 74ls06 input :
3x 22ohm resistor
1x 74ls06
3x zbf253d

3) out from zbf253d to DB15
pin 10-2 and 9

Do you have a source for the zbf253d's? I can always scavenge them from failed boards, but I don't know of anyplace they can be purchased...

I take it from a mv2f failed board, but you can take from any model of mvs.
i'm not sure about direct substitute:

its a Noise-Suppression Filters so maybe you can try without it :)
Mouser always lists them as “restricted inventory”, so the times I’ve needed them I always have to scrounge. And yeah, never been too clear on their purpose beyond the FCC saying they need to be there.

(for my own notes on CN1)
Code:
CON1

pin 1 - NC (ground)
pin 2 - NC
pin 3 - pin 9 of 2up joystick port
pin 4 - pin 2 of 2up joystick port
pin 5 - pin 10 of 2up joystick port
pin 6 - pin 9 of 1up joystick port
pin 7 - pin 2 of 1up joystick port
pin 8 - pin 10 of 1up joystick port

Can pull VCC from TP2

Related: anyone have the JST type and size for CN1? Could always just use dupont connectors...

Could you update the PCB to support kailh choc switches or let us know what type of switch we need to use?

Or do you have the actual project file so I can change it myself please?
