As I said before... System16 has lots of iconic, great games, but, at least for me, it would be more a matter of convenience since you can just swap the ROM chips to change game.no interest on system16 or model 2/3 Or cave1000?

Cave1000 though... that would be really interesting.
My only argument would be that if we need a Cave1000 board to use the multi it's going to be an extremely pricey option.
I'm not one to spend 1000€+ on a game.
Model2/3,I'm not personally interested in them, aside from the racing games which I'll never probably play on original hardware as I don't have the space to put a racing cab.
True for Action Fighter and Alex Kidd, there's a Time Attack version of FZ for the System16B, though. But to play all System 16 games you need a minimum of 4 boards:
System 16A for Fantasy Zone, Alex Kidd and Action Fighter (at the very least you need Fantasy Zone)
AFAIK, all the games are compatible with the base 5704 ROM Board (which is what I have and been using so far and have yet to find a game which doesn't run on it).System 16B main board and at least 2 revisions of ROM boards as not all games are supported on all ROM boards.
Color me surprised alreadywho knows? Maybe there is a batch already in production but I'm not disclosing anything to avoid copycats and the like to get ideas....
You'll be surprised about what comes next though...100% guaranteed![]()
If an original board is required, Cave games will be worth more than their weight in gold. Doubt DS would make a solution that would be so unattainable.I wonder what a Cave Multi would do to the prices of the original boards...
I guess that would depend if you needed an original board or not for the multi.
IF it included support for them on the multicart, you would still be required to use a 1.5 motherboard. Will the CPS1 include all the 1.5 games as well like Caddies and Punisher?
Bootlegs of Caddies and Punisher run into Aje's CPS1 multi but not official ones because of the Q-Sound.If an original board is required, Cave games will be worth more than their weight in gold. Question that has probably been asked before but TL;DR -- Will the CPS1 include all the 1.5 games as well like Caddies and Punisher?
I would definitely buy a model 2/3 and cave1000no interest on system16 or model 2/3 Or cave1000?
I like shooters, they aren't my goto but I like them, esp the classics (R-Type/Lifeforce).if the cave1000 requires an original PCB it will likely be way too expensive.
