The guy I bought it from was very understanding of the situation, didn't realize it was a conversion, and gave me some extra cash to keep it. I wasn't particularly interested in holding on to it so I sold it at a big discount to a friend locally. Cool game, just too brutal for me.

For what seems like the millionth time, I don't think anyone is saying the guy can't ask for whatever price he wants. However, if Hrvat9 was really doing anything other than leeching off the trading forums, then he'd have probably re-listed the board here for the price he paid or close to it...

I have never argued that Hrvat9 can't sell for the price he wants. I just think it's fair for me to point out that the seller paid $500 on this forum for the board, but went to KLOV to seek a $300 profit after 20 days.

I think people who pay attention to what PCBs sell for these days would agree that the going price for an Espgaluda is closer to $500 than $800, especially now that the market is flooded with inexpensive PGM conversions. Prior to my sale, an Espgaluda board sold for $550 On eBay. Forum sales...
