My guess is that if you use a memory card (or a solution like the Neo save masta) you'll be able to get around this limitation. Not sure if all MVS games support the memory card however.

I think around 10 years ago there was a CD-R modification made by Elsemi and sporty(?) which made it possible to boot CD-R's with the Naomi GD-Rom / dimm board- combo. This mod was never publicly released though, but it's an interesting tidbit to share :)

Thanks for the warm welcome guys! @Mugicha it's actually possible to convert GD-Rom games into cartridges. There might be a few experts on this very board that can help you with that.
