Bubble Symphony cartridge glitching on startup

Sorry for the late response, was very busy last month. But yes! That did the trick, and my games are now able to be powered up to 5.00v. Thanks a ton! Just to know for further references, is there a limit to how high this can go before possibly becoming dangerous to the boards?

Bubble Symphony cartridge glitching on startup

Going to try this again at some point, but if I can't get this new power supply running I'm going to just return it, and buy this one I was suggested by a friend: https://m.axunworks.com/product-p669351.html

Bubble Symphony cartridge glitching on startup

I finally got around to getting everything hooked up, however the Mean Well RT-125A wouldn't turn on. I plugged everything back into my older one, and it worked perfectly, but this one doesn't seem to start up at all. Any ideas? I also did look it up, and apparently some other people were...

Bubble Symphony cartridge glitching on startup

Thanks! So, to clarify, this is the right setup for the cords? And thank you for the response on the F3 problem! Turns out I did just need go push the test button on the motherboard itself, but I'll keep that in mind in case I run into anything similar

Bubble Symphony cartridge glitching on startup

Oh, sorry probably should've included another shot of my new power supply. I don't see a +12V, but there is a COM I'll try connecting my black wire to (by which I assume you mean the one labeled "GND" on my supergun). This is also the cable I was sent, without an extra GND wire. I've been...

Bubble Symphony cartridge glitching on startup

I got the Mean Well RT-125A today, and before trying it out I wanted to ask about the correct way to hook up the wires. I think I got some of them down, but the labeling is different compared to my old one, and I want to make sure I don't mess something up. Here's some pictures of what I have...

Thank you so much! I'll definitely look into these soon enough

Bubble Symphony cartridge glitching on startup

Ah, I didn't know that about the supergun. Thanks for letting me know! I'll be sure not to do that anymore. I tried using a multimeter on the +5v section of my supergun, and got around 0.04 with the board connected. Also, yes! Thanks for showing me where the test switch is, that got the game...

Bubble Symphony cartridge glitching on startup

Apologies, here's a better shot at the voltage being changed with the PSU reading: https://tinyurl.com/PSUBoxvoltage I think my supergun is what's giving me issues, since the PSU box does display well over 5.0 when nothing is plugged in, so part of me wonders if my supergun is using too much...

Bubble Symphony cartridge glitching on startup

I did try the other direction, and it lowered the voltage which lead to the game eventually shutting off until I raised it again. I did also try pressing the test button on my supergun, but nothing happened still. Here's a quick video I took to better help show my issue...

Bubble Symphony cartridge glitching on startup

I tried to adjust the reading after plugging in the board, however when when I turned the dial to the furthest it'll go, it still only displayed 4.73, and I still can't get passed this screen. I also tried looking for a test button on the F3, but haven't been able to find it.

Bubble Symphony cartridge glitching on startup

I've never tried using a multimeter before, so I'll need to look into that. When I turn my supergun on, it displays around 5.0 volts, however once I plug in something, like my F3, it drops to around 4.8. I had no idea the F3 motherboard had a test button, I'll try looking for it and seeing what...

Bubble Symphony cartridge glitching on startup

Something else I noticed. The graphics seem to change whenever I mess with the voltage. When I have it turned to the left, it fuzzes out with some letters missing. When I turn it to the right, it still fuzzes, but all the letters are there. I haven't tried messing with this too much, as I...

Bubble Symphony cartridge glitching on startup

Hello! Recently I got myself a Bubble Symphony Japanese cartridge for my F3. I tried to load it up, however it's stuck on the "Push Test Switch" screen, with some glitches, and I can't get passed it. The listing I bought this from showed the game in working condition, so I wonder if maybe I...

    Displaying arcade boards on CRT?

Thank you all so much. Last night I managed to get up and running, and while I currently have no audio (my supergun has an audio slot so I can probably figure that out easily), the games show up now, and I'm able to control them with the Neo-Geo to SNES adapter! I'm very grateful for the help...

    Displaying arcade boards on CRT?

Is there anything else I need before trying everything out? I once again am going to be testing with my 60-in-1 board before moving onto my other.

    Displaying arcade boards on CRT?

Got the power cord cables today, much earlier than I expected. I assume what I need to do it is trim the tops back a bit, make a hook, then place them in the correct order (which I'm not sure what it is)

    Displaying arcade boards on CRT?

Great, thanks so much for all the help! I'll go ahead and order the power cord. I'm sure I could hack up an old one myself, but I'd rather play it safe right now and get one I know will work. Also, here's a second picture showing all the wires being connected:

Would this be how I hook up the 3 cords then? And I need to get some wall outlet with 3 wires for the FC, AC/N, and AC/L?
