oddly enough i learned with the najv2 it is not necessary to hook up a second i/o. all the street fighter games see it as if it is a dual i/o board and boot up with no issues.
 
Apologies if this has already been mentioned but can I update Ver 2.0 directly over 1.4? AS in just copy all the files over the top of my existing installation?
 
Have a problem with Persona 4

The game starts.
But unfortunately in a too high resolution
Since I have a CRT monitor in my cab, I cannot play it.
With me only 800x600 works.
Is it possible to change the resolution of the Persona 4 game ?
In the INI file maybe?
 
Nesica games are not officially supported, but you may want to try changing your dip switch settings to 480p maybe, or messing with the .ini as a last resort.
 
It's not the 480p.
It's set at 480p.
It's only at persona 4.
All other games work fine.
I can't find any settings in the ini.

I’ve seen games resolution depend on the io, which is declared in the ini usually as “dual”. You could instead try forcing the ini to gametype=jvs. Not sure but it’s worth a shot.
 
I use a Capcom JVS to Jamma adapter in my cab.
But only for the controls.
The VGA signal goes directly into the monitor.
I'll give it a try, though.

It is also possible that the game can only be played in 720p ?

I only noticed that there is a patch file in the folder.

I will also turn off the patching in the menu.
Maybe that brings something.

@Nico : the game goes on... but in a too high resolution.
(My monitor is a Polostar25 Trisync.)
I only see a bright thick white stripe in the middle.
I see the game very easily.
Sound is coming.
But then leave the game so the monitor doesn't break.
I think the game jumps to 720p internally.
Because all other games run fine.
My monitor can only display a maximum of 800x600.
 
So far I have not found a solution.
Persona 4 cannot be set to 800x600 so easily.
If someone has a solution let me know.

Got a Q6600 on my motherboard
4Gb RAM and an Elsa 979 graphics card.

It is also only the game that causes problems.
I do not understand it myself.
