AMP Up Pin Removal - SEGA Blast City

Does anyone know the best tool to remove AMP Up pins on the SEGA Blast City?

I want to fashion a JVS Power Plug from the cabinet I/O board and I may have to modify some of the pins that are running to the JAMMA harness.

Unfortunately Google is no help, because as soon as the word "AMP" is in the search, it produces audio results.

The best way to get them out, in my experience, is to use one of the male pins. It's exactly the right width, and slides easily into the release clasp. It's also rounded at the tip so it won't scratch or cause damage to the clasp, which happened with several other tools I tried. Once it's in place, it clicks and stays in there, but is pushed out by the pin you're removing. It's almost like it was designed to work this way.
