It's modified to provide -5v I believe.regarding the power supply that comes with the supergun i.e Ault SC200, looking at the specs it doesnt have -5VDC, is that converted/generated by the supergun ?

Perhaps it does now but my power supply definitely has -5v.was able to find this on the official website, looks like supergun does the conversion

I know. I have an original as well. I use it for CPS2 with minigun supergun.they put a sticker on top of the power supply, here is the original one: Unless they modified the insides of the power supply which I doubt considering the note on their website.

I did not write it down and they are all under heat shrink now.good stuff, do you have the pinout for the cables by any chance, I have the same powersupply and I stripped the cables and will wire it for HAS.
Cable Color Voltage output none - bare cable Ground White Green Blue Red Yellow

Is that output over VGA or Scart on the supergun cause that's TTL sync which you should be kinda careful what you connect it to.waveform of the sync being output by the supergun- any advice?

HI. You can try installing a BNC cap with a 75 ohm resistor on the BVM sync output. I see your BVM also has a SCART input, is it the same situation?Hello Axunworks!! I've got a supergun mini and have been using it with my IGS PGM carts with great success when running the signal through my OSSC->flat panel displays.
I also have a sony d14 BVM, and unfortunately I've run into seemingly unsolvable issues getting the output of the IGS+mini supergun to sync to the D14- I'm getting basically the same issues that are discussed in this thread about the newer HAS supergun- would the Axunworks mini have the same sort of circuit as the newer HAS that had this issue? My symptoms are exactly the same as what's discussed in that thread. I've tried running the signal through 2 different sync stripper/regenerators (gscartsw switch, and an extron 203) and neither has made any difference- no matter what on the sony I get a rolling screen unless I hit the horizontal delay button, and even then there's crazy extreme curling on the left and everything distorted.
anyway, wondering if there's anything I can try to tweak on the supergun to help, or if a specific sync stripper/regenerator might help.
here's the thread outlining the issues with the sonyd14 that i am seeing as well:
https://www.arcade-projects.com/threads/bvm-d14h5u-with-has-v4-2-with-cps2-or-3.28823/
And here's a youtube video showing the sync issues on my sony- the panasonic next to it in the video is getting the signal from passthough on the sony . . . panasonic seems to be fine with it
Many arcade games have non-standard synchronization signals. Have you tried SNK-MVS and encountered the same issue? I've found it to be very stable on most PVM CRTs, so BVM might be more sensitive to synchronization signals.yep, it does the same with BNC or scart input. I do have the sync output terminated with a resistor already, no difference. I'm pretty sure the sony just doesn't like anything where the sync signal polarity is negative. I do have a sync strike that just arrived, I'm going to give that a try and see if it makes any difference . . . . but for now I'm just running the supergun into my retrotink 4k and using it with my OLED instead of the CRT.
