Why would the red work on the same chassis with one tube but not the other then? Not saying you are wrong I just am perplexed.

I tried several times on both tubes with the same chassis and I get red when using my old tube.

I definitely thought it was a chassis issue at first too until I tried with my original tube again and got red.

I'll see if I can switch neckboards, i just remember in the past having trouble disconnecting the wires from the neckboard but I'll give it a try.

This is the neckboard from the chassis I had reconditioned by Sharp Image repair that fires red on my old tube but not my new one.

How do ppl mount Sega model 1 . 2 . 3 boards without the cage? I thought ppl don't like the cage because it breaks the PCB during shipping, but if they do have the cage shipped separately, would use it to mount the PCB in the cab. I E-Mailed Ken at iRepairSega and he said he throws them directly in the trash lol.
 
So Yaton emailed me back and I am going to return the chassis and yoke but keep the frame and glass tube.

Can I just swap the yoke from my tube with burn in to the new tube and possibly get a burn free tube working with my existing chassis?

Edit : thinking if the issue is the electron gun probably not.

Never removed yoke before kinda scared lol. I was told to loosen these screws and “pull it out”

Not sure to do with the tube and frame with no yoke if it doesn’t fire red. I’d hate to just recycle it but idk if it’s worth the trouble

This blue wire came loose and of course my dad fucked with the rings even though there was no reason to. Now have to try to find pics of how the rings were if somehow we fix this tube issue.

Wondering if i resolder this blue wire if it could fix my no red issue

Does anyone have a Model 2 A Filter board for use with VF2? I got my VF2 Rev B but the "tested" filter board from Yaton has a bunch of snapped off pins.

$300 for 2 stools from the FB sale, I cant recall how much for the ones from Ground Zero, I got lucky and contacted at the right time when he had a couple and was doing a run in my area. Can't remember 300-350 for 2. But this was 2 years ago. Next order will probably be from Taito directly for some of the 43cm ones. Will need to buy at least 4 to make it worth the shipping cost I think.

How much does Taito sell them for and how much do they charge for shipping? Also, what part of CA are you in? Maybe we can do a group order.

36200 Yen for stools + 71000 Yen to Ship. I'm in the Anaheim area. (733.22 USD total according to Google)

It will be some time though before I pull the trigger on 4 more.

No worries, maybe we can open the order to others in LA to possibly save some money. I'm in no rush, just let me know when you decide to pull the trigger. I'm in Burbank.
