Removing this screw and the one on the other side holding the chassis down to the monitor frame was absolutely ridiculous to get at.

It’s soooo cramped when the chassis is in the chassis holder under the monitor. Fuck my sweet a******. Def not gonna put those screws back unless I’m sure I’m not messing with the chassis ever again.

MS8-26 SE. I almost got a MS8-26SU as a replacement. Not sure what the differences are?

Are there adapter plates to get Sanwa joysticks in an Aero City CP? I thought it would work if I reattached the original plates they came with but no luck. I wanted to use a Sanwa joystick to match Sanwa buttons. Seimetsus mount fine of course.

Can’t get this screw out and I don’t understand it’s purpose in the first place. Used pbblaster multiple times and trying to hold the flathead side still while using a screwdriver with hex attachment thingy but it keeps slipping and scratching the cabinet.

Not sure what to do this is my last screw (I hope) giving me trouble. The fact that it’s a flat head screw is making it impossible. Also tried the reverse, holding the nut side and turning on the flat head side. Maybe if I had someone holding one side for me I could get it.

If that fails idk what my options are without destroying the cabinet further.

Edit : Gonna try center punch method and a screw extraction set if that doesn't work

Ordered some Blast City speakers from KC because I am fairly certain mine are blown as I get really bad rattle on them. Prob won't install anytime soon due to the difficulty but reviews on ebay seem good and would like to have some spares for when that day comes.

Krud kutter, then simple green, then distilled water using spray bottles. Compressed air gun to dry most of it off, now sun. Probably shoulda taken chassis out of chassis holder but I didn’t feel like it.

Never washed a chassis before so I was a bit hesitant, usually just send em off for repair and hope they clean em up a bit for me.

Tracked down the black connector thing on yaton with a aero city harness. Took a gamble and grabbed it.

Tested PSU and getting 5V and 12V dc out of the top and the three brown connectors on the bottom are 120V AC. Comparing to my Aero City I see white plugs that look like they could be similar coming out from the patch thing next to the PSU

Are Aero Table harnesses the same but maybe just color coded differently on connectors?

I can tell one of those connectors powers the monitor in the aero table , but not sure what the other two would power in the aero table?

Here is the Aero City wiring for comparison.

Got it out! My dad got home from a trip and was able to help me. Just found a big flathead where the head fit more snug in the screw.

Got it out super quick with one person holding the nut and one person turning the flathead screw driver.

I guess my strength was cut in half trying to do both at the same time myself.

Shipped chassis to Sharp Image repair. They got it in a day which surprised me and let me know it should be back to me super quick. Still waiting on the Yaton Aero City harness to compare to my existing and see how I am gonna make this work.

Is anyone having issues uploading photos to the forums? I keep getting server error occurred try again later but I don’t think the photo is too large.

Probably a phone issue on my side.

Edit : Tried on my PC with a 700kb picture file and still no dice.

After all my wire harness comparisons I think if I get an extender for my speaker audio and for my 5v power I may be able to get my Aero Table working with an Aero City harness + some of the existing parts of the Aero Table harness that weren't chopped up.
