DARKSOFT CPS III Bios and CD Releases

[Nightshademan]

ShootTheCore has successfully got my cart to work again many blessings to him for it.

Is it possible for me to skip the region select screen and just go directly to my game?
If yes can this be done on a CD that will just do that? Thanks to all in advance.

Region select is controlled by the cart bios. If you dont want region select you need to re-program your cart.

As far as I know, the only way is to reprogram with the bios that forces either USA or jpn region. But I don't believe that's ultra simm compatible.

I've should of asked ShootTheCore about the pro's and cons of programming the cart to what i want, but being this is the case of getting free games, It's not so bad after fall, I did notice the URL is missing of the Capcom website on the Third Strike demo play.

Thanks so much for your input on the matter.

There are direct-boot versions of the Ultrabios available.

Its not a huge deal.
Lately I've been picking a random region for kicks.

Just was thinking the Ultra Bios was the way to go being it's updated in fixes, as bugs and all, is it?

From what I can tell, its the best it will get until someone learns how to actually restore keys.

Ultrabios only fixed the glitch menu cursor in the Darksoft menu and added support for the flashes used on the ultrasimms.
