What's new
Ok so the following link will open you directly to the root of my working SD card...

SD Card Image

As for all the games (and hacks etc) you'll notice it's not (yet) complete.
This is my personal SD, so right now it's only the games I really care about playing.
A bit of a necro bump here, my apologies, but I am curious as to what the "NOW_PLAY" file is in your games directory jass? Is this file essential to games loading correctly as I do not have it when I unrar the package.
that file is created by the multigame so it remembers which was the last game loaded. Better don't touch it. If you delete it, then it will boot normally but won't display which game is "NOW PLAYING" until you write a new game.

The kit creates that file when you load a game. It is used to display which game is playing on the LCD.

Discovered 3DHub.net where folks with 3D printers local to you can print out a file you send them. Found a local (relatively) guy who printed this out for me in blue plastic which appears to match the blue color of the US CPS2 B-Boards.
That is very interesting. I didn't know about that hub. I'm sure some more people can now get their case.
Yup. The main URL is https://www.3dhubs.com/. Once you sign up, you can upload the file(s) you have and it will automatically determine the expected cost for the print. You'll get a HUGE list of folks who have registered on the site as 3D printers, and be able to search for the best match for you whether it's cost/quality/speed/etc. I found my local guy as the cost was estimated at $8.10, then shipping was added and it came out to about $15. The guy reviewed my file, agreed to the task, then printed it out all within about three hours. Was shipped out today.
I could have gotten an even finer "print", but figured i'd save the $8.00 additional or so and just lightly sand the exterior with some fine grit sandpaper and rubbing compound to really make it stand out.

Had never even heard of the site until the right search terms were put into Google and out came 3D Hub. Previously, I was going to have Staples print it, but they wanted nearly $80 to print it out!

BTW, the site is a worldwide site. Their main page shows the number of registered 3D printers in regions around the world. It's quite extensive.
For the record, yes I am still making these for $10 shipped :)

Awesome chocolate! (Something I've heard from ex-girlfriends on the rag before. lol). Didn't intend to impinge on your little side sessions there. Just wasn't sure if you were still doing it and wanted to provide a resource just in case. :)

It works. Did you make sure you have all of the game files in the folder. I think that is only the .02 file.

i got it to work -- there were some hidden files in the extracted folder. Deleted those an it was good to go.

OK... Now a tutorial on how to edit this for the multi kit, and we are good to go... Any one care to chime in?
Concatenate the prog roms (03 to 09 in this instance), then pad the "missing" 10 rom with FFs so your file ends up at 4096kb).
Edit, here's a ready to go xdelta that you can apply against the sfx.02 file from ssf2xjdi.
https://mega.nz/#!sUcjCRza!nQTa7ceSbl527bczpGuJ85yhOM-pfstyCBH9oLs_1w0

Here's how the modified sfx.02 was made:

Code:
$ cat sfxjdi.03c 04-jap_prog-freeplay_hack.bin sfxjdi.05 sfxjdi.06a sfxjdi.07 sfxjdi.08 sfx.09 null.0x > sf2x.02
null.0x is just a 512kb dummy file filled with FFs (8000 hex blocks)

again, props to idc for making a freeplay enabled version of this game.
For those of you that want the actual rom for the multicart for ST free play, here it is: https://mega.nz/#!yowEHCYY!_fYdwVcDRQrAKfgB3EvKoA3jmmPvHwM5eo9B58vKrYU

No need to mess with hex dumpers or anything else. Just drop this onto your SD card and get that free play goodness.

Fellas, where can i find the tutorial info to install the auto-reset on the board?
You recently got your kit correct? So your firmware already has reset. You just need to install the wire. There are pics in the very first post of this thread near the top of where to connect the wire to depending on your board revision. You can see where to solder the wire to your kit pcb in this guide:

Dumb question: does the latest batch of kits on their way to Paradise have the latest firmware with the Bootloader feature? I'm hoping I don't need to connect the Multi kit to my PC to update the firmware...

Yes. Batch is on their way and they have bootloader feature, auto reset, updated compatibility, etc.

Would it be possible to stick a new complete package on first page?
I don't mind doing one and sharing, but I'm afraid doing mistakes since I am quite lagging behind, releases wise.

Is there a download of the multi board sticker? I'd love to be able to print one out and stick it on to my board.
