CV1000D Multi! NOT A BOOT CHAT THREAD - Formerly: A huge project is approaching....

After weeks of crawling the foulest sewers of the internet, obscure forums, long-forgotten chats, smuggling messages across the great firewall - I've come up blank. I'm hanging my hackery head, handing back my 3 megabytes of hot RAM.

I'm the Oblivious 20%... and I like it.

Im in the same camp. We may need to hold ABC to clear Ram

Delisoba Deluxe is an action driving game in which the player must drive a scooter to deliver soba noodles while avoiding obstacles.

How is this not Cave’s best known game?

Oh man, so even more of these $3000 products are going out, some hardly working! Followed up by zero support and bizarro secrecy claims. Half the people who are actually active in the scene know it exists, the secrecy is just because they're afraid of getting the wrong folks looking in their direction. Thankfully you and I, dear friends, we don't have the same issue since there are zero dollars involved in this project.

And since we're here, let me tell you guys, there are THREE commercial multis out there right now (at least one works, thankfully).

More of the same as when we had back when Joerg was selling TTX drives, TeknoParrot guy was selling Lindy bootlegs, android selling Ring* bootlegs, and a dozen other examples. Community banded together and made better solutions for those, and from here we will find a better solution for this as well. Whether the community picks up the ball and runs with it, or I eventually get around to finishing it, we won't have to deal with this sort of gatekeeping nonsense. Especially since there are effectively 0 technical hurdles.

Ah, now I think know what it is. The price and the fact that two are barely working tipped me off. I figured this was the initial push and these will get better.

By the way, FUCK the guy this is going to piss off, he's on my shit list!

Release away Rewrite!

Will Alex Jones break this soon?
I know I'm running behind pace. I was hoping Barbara Walters could do it, but that's how far behind the ball I am lately.

Ah, now I think know what it is.
I've been posting around in three different threads attempting to make it pretty obvious, I was hoping someone would pick up the pieces and put 'em together. Sorry @kazuo half my arguing with you in another thread was trying to set off the lightbulb for ya.

It's 4 flash roms that have effectively zero protection on them. It's genuinely the easiest multi of all time to make.

Current release is: 1 game at a time, swap out games by putting 4 flash roms in ZIF connectors. Can be programmed with your bog standard programmer.

Next release: all games with a rotary dipswitch, but need to solder all the flashroms on (just once). Mostly all designed, but good Lord I can't use KiCAD to save my life (which is why we're getting ZIF socket edition, because that's the extent of my KiCAD capabilities, one giant rectangle board with 2 layers, lol. Said friend who usually works with me on creating PCBs' wife is ill and so I have no help for a bit (understandably).

One kink to work out still, and will either get to it after setting up my new plastics workshop, or let the community figure it out before I get there.
