List no longer needed, Darksoft said he would make enough to satisfy initial demandSo am I still # 240 on the infamous list.....?? Lol jk...
Anyhoo, this is very exciting stuff. Thank you to the creators who have been working on this. When I first joined the hobby, the CPS2 Multi was the first thing I had to have. The CPS1 Multi was barely in "talks" and I thought to my self how cool would it be to have a CPS1, CPS2, and CPS3 Multi in my "one" cab ( a Q Sound Big Blue)....which is hilarious now to me. Mainly because I have enough cabs to house each multi by itself, properly
I hope to have this multi in hand sooner than later!
I’d say that part looks the right size, but you can easily measure the distance between the pins on the underside of the board to confirm it.![]()
Oops. I picked up a short board and donor c boards awhile back for this but totally forgot about the 12mhz crystal upgrade. Anyone out there help a ninja out and recommend a place to pick up a crystal? Saw this ( https://www.digikey.com/en/products/detail/ecs-inc/ECS-100A-120/79217 ) recommended on the forums but the size was in question.
i happily stand correctedNo. You’ll have all the games in the library with the extra added bonus that Forgotten Worlds will be able to be controlled with buttons and played without the need for a spinnerwhich itself is good news if you think about it.
thats a long boiIs my SF2 a 'long' or 'short' PCB?

Haha, I know dude, the list will never die! People will always want to get added to it, regardless of how many times it's posted that it's irrelevant now.List no longer needed, Darksoft said he would make enough to satisfy initial demand![]()
Man, just saw when I started that thread/list, Dec 10 2017, its been a while. But Im glad Darksoft/Apocalypse took up the challenge.Haha, I know dude, the list will never die! People will always want to get added to it, regardless of how many times it's posted that it's irrelevant now.
But please ...+1 for me on![]()

Thanks, I did see that page@twistedsymphony made a nice thread with this info: https://www.arcade-projects.com/threads/cps-a-board-differences.5004/
SF2 CE/HF is indeed playable in 10/12mhz. I've played it with both boards no issues. The game was originally designed to play on 12mhz though. If you have played the game like forever, you will maybe notice some improvements in slowdowns such as when you throw your opponent and breaks a barrel and other similar situations. Thanks, I did see that page
Its a little confusing though, my board looks to be a long 10hz version, yet SF2 CE/HF is listed further down the page as only playable on the 12mhz Dash board?
Lol well I said I expected to be in the minority here. But it’s simply a cost effectiveness thing… I’ve got a cps1 board (captain commando) and axunworks spinners ready to go, and expecting this to be $400-500+… but if I’m honest, it won’t give me much practical benefit over my mistercade setup except better audio. I don’t think I can justify the expense. I love having original hardware, and this is incredible work as always, but the big (admittedly niche) benefit I was looking forward to won’t be here.
If FW spinner support is something that could be modded in later for those who care to, that would be
