What's new
Looks very interesting but christ I do wish China would stop destroying CPS1 games/boards to make their pirate shit. Not referring to this C board product as such, just the multitude of destroyed CPS1 products I see on that site. No WONDER it is so hard to get SFII WW these days!! That is a game that should have never become hard to find.

There was a stash of C-board customs that turned up in the wild a little over a year ago, +86k of them. Somehow they all dried up. Either someone is banking on arcade futures and snatched them all up, or the stock was miscounted by a factor of 1000. Probably a little of both.

But ok, back on topic: How to use this product.

They never had that many. The stock number on utsource is almost never correct. 50 percent of the time when I order from.there they dont have the number I ordered.

Interesting, are those c boards official Capcom but made in China? Given that CPS1 was used for 2000 release of Ganbare Marin-Kun I wonder. They look nos. Hopefully sometime in future you have cps3 mobos lol.

Damn look at those boards. My comment was more directed at all those a+b boards used for pirated Chinese crap. I got one of those 14 in 1 CPS1 boards free with my Blast in 2017. Was supposed to be brand new but it never worked in the Blast and had sync issues as well as not working in the NAC.

Only good thing about it is that I was able to use the A board to replace a faulty one I bought with a "fully working" Carrier Airwing and I was also able to use the C board. I wonder how many SF2 boards have be sacrificed to provide those A and B boards. Gets on my nerves. I could be wrong of course.

From what I know a lot of B were custom made. Hammy looked at Lydz's CPS1.5 and said that even Q sound board was custom made. All Lydz's CPS multi are custom boards for B board and Q Sound. Only C board is original - which now doesnt look surprising given he has nos.

@lydz is this the CPS1.5 game? Any way of updating the older 15 in 1 (3 in 1) multi?

Back on topic please.

@lydz, what are the jumper settings for each game. The file you posted just shows codes. Also, what is supposed to be done with the hex files?

He added a list of DIP switch settings to the first post in the thread, the hex files might be for PALs?

The file has been written, so you don't need to write it in when you get it. I just explain how it works.

@lydz, the jumper settings you listed here point to CPS ID's. Not games. Can you map those ID's to games? Help us take the guess work out of using your product?

Great, good to know that nothing needs to be done with the hex files.

General users do not need to download files, individual users can set their IDs by modifying the files

"B-21" is listed 7 times on the below spreadsheet with 7 different jumper settings.
  • How are you supposed to figure out which game is to be used for those jumber settings for 'B-21'?
    • Are we expected to guess?
  • sf2ce, sf2hf map to CPS_B_21_DEF in the MAME driver
    • CPS_B_21_DEF is not listed in the jumper settings below
    • Again, are we supposed to guess the jumper settings for sf2ce, sf2hf?
  • Seems B-01 thru B-18 can be figured out by looking at the MAME driver, but without the games supported for each jumper setting listed, it is dice roll
    • Are we supposed to guess?
@lydz, can you post the jumper settings for each game? Why is that such a hard request to fulfill?
