Does Anyone Own a Gundhara PCB?

Option 1, please.
Caved in and copped a donor.

Co-signing option 1, if Rezon works.

I think down the line perhaps options 2 or 3 could be released as a “deluxe” option if you have the drive, but you’ve got the “meat and potatoes” of the system sorted out methinks.

Case in point, I will never play Where’s Wally on the System 18 multi. Ever. I guess it’s nice that it’s on there. But I will never play that.

FWIW, what donor were you having issues with Rezon running on @twistedsymphony

Zombie Raid. It fails to boot in a way that seems like a ram address error. So my suspension is that it doesn't play nice with the extra ram. It shouldn't be an issue to work around on a multi but I've got to confirm that's actually the issue first.

So here are the 3 options I'm faced with:
1. move forward and finish up the hardware design as is and release as an 8-in-1 (probably could be released this year)
2. release the hardware with a few extra empty slots empty (probably could be released this year but will likely be about $80 more expensive) and hope that I or others can expand the list to 12 or 13 later

Let me know what option people think is best.

I would be super happy with Option 1.
Option 2 would be great, because Sokonuke Taisen Game is awesome  (and well worth the extra $80)
Sign me up (got a Zing Zing Zip board waiting for this)

A thought that recently occured to me is to leave spots on the multi for future expansion.
That way it can be added if wanted.
That pleases option 1, option 2, and option 3 people.

Sorry I'm a bit late to the party.
I couldn't find any definitive info about potential compatible donor PCBs in your big post about a potential multi besides Zombie Raid, people are mentioning Zing Zing Zip, anything else?

Here
Confirmed Donor Boards:
  • PO-078A (used by Blandia)
  • PO-079A (used by Eight Forces and Zing Zing Zip)
  • PO-122A (used by Zombie Raid)

Potential Donor Boards (theorize they'd work but have not confirmed)
  • PO-122B (used by Zombie Raid) <- a slight variation on the other board, I have one to test/confirm
  • PO-092A (used by Daioh)
  • PO-072-2 (used by Prototypes) <- doubt anyone will use this due to rarity
  • PO-120A (used by Gundhra) <- doubt anyone will use this due to rarity
  • 93111A (used by War of Aero and JJ Squawkers) <- doubt anyone will use this due to rarity

I've been working on this a bit recently.

Got to the point where I needed to map out the Kick Connector for Daioh and decided to design a small IO PCB to test and confirm the circuit.

Does anyone own an original Daioh who would be willing to check some things with a multimeter for me?

If anyone has a Daioh Conversion and would like to add a kick connector to it, this board should take care of that and I'm sure I'll have to make a few of them for minimum production.
