Fell for a scam... oopsie

I made a Wtb post on here for a vewlix lock piece. I got a message that said email my friend he has one for sale. Sent an email and get up a buy. Never received the item and now the message is gone on the forum as well.. after looking back I should have known better for sure. Here is the person's email and PayPal to be on the look out for..

$30 dollars gone and I still need the lock piece

Yes , is known . Some scammers go through WTB sections and try this ! Happened to me in my searching of UVC downscaler .

I'll definitely run a search on the forums before sending money from now on. I've had such good experiences on this forum I became too trusting clearly.

Damn, sorry to hear that. The guy is banned since some time, but looks like he still managed to scam some people.
